Playing around with capton tape and copper

The picture shows the first test with capton and copper tape. I'd call it a win and a fail. I lost all the sticky stuff after etching and cleaning. Had to glue it on the pipe and then soldered the LEDs on. I tried charlie plexing but there were to many broken traces because of bended copper tape, I had to fix. You really cant use the iron too long on the cape, the traced tend to shift.

check traces - WIN

etch it

looking good!
